People of all races and ages get acne. It is most common in adolescents and young adults. Around 85 percent of people between the ages of 12 and 24 develop the disorder. Nearly 17 million people in the United States have acne, making it the most common skin disease.

For most people, acne tends to diminish by the time they reach their thirties; however, some people in their forties and fifties continue to have this skin problem.

so I made this makeup tutorial because I had a request on how I do my makeup, and I decided it was time to do. I’ve been contemplating it for a while, but I’ve always been skeptical to do it because of my acne… I really hate showing it out in public and never go out without my makeup. However, I also thought about how many people it may help if I put this up, so I decided to be selfless and show the world… I would appreciate it if nobody would leave harsh comments or anything of that nature because as I said, this took a lot of guts to put up… Anyways I hope this helps whoever watches it, my face takes me (on average about 30-45 minutes to cover, however, I am a perfectionist (and I have slight OCD) so for anyone else it may be much quicker, depending what you have on your face also… I have looked at a few of the other acne coverage videos, and although they may be faster, they use a lot of products, and although some claim otherwise, I feel like most of them would feel cakey or heavy on the face… With mine, I simply use one product, and it feels like you have no makeup on I don’t think a lot of others can say that haha but this is not a competition, I am here to help people, and if I can do that, even if it’s one person out there, then I have achieved my goal I have been through a lot with my acne and it’s a hard thing to go through, so if you’re watching this, don’t despair, mine was very bad, now it’s manageable, I hope it will soon be gone, but in the meantime, makeup helps with the confidence issue.
