I want to know the best way to treat you acne but i dont want to spend over 25 bucks Thanks

Only spend money if it is for something your doctor has recommended. Beware of using any products for acne unless they have been prescribed or recommended by your doctor. People make all kinds of suggestions about the best thing to do to cure acne. Some cures I’ve heard include putting oatmeal, honey, lemon juice, tea tree oil, cucumber, vinegar, milk of magnesia or toothpaste on your face. Practically every cosmetics company and company that makes personal care products makes something that is a “sure cure” for acne. If we think about this, and use some common sense, we have to come to the conclusion that there is no quick or easy cure for acne, because if there was it would be well known and doctors would be telling everyone about it.

Numerous companies make a lot of money persuading people to buy products that at worst will make the acne worse, and at best may help some people a little. Often fewer products are better. People often make their acne much worse by using too many products. There really is no quick fix for acne. Don’t spend a lot of money on products just because their ads say that they will cure acne. Your doctor is the best person to ask for help, and he or she may recommend some prescription medication or non-prescription treatment that may be suitable for you..

There are some very simple and basic things you can do that cost nothing. Keep your face or any other area affected by acne very clean. Any mild antibacterial soap will help with that. Rinse the area well to remove all soap residue. Drink plenty of water – it really does help to clear up acne. Eat a nutritious diet and get enough sleep. A healthy life style will make a difference. Try to reduce the stress in your life – stress contributes to acne, so also probably the more you worry about the acne and focus on it, the worse it will be.

Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.

Here are a few informative links with additional ideas about preventing and treating acne.

Below are some helpful, cheap tips on what to do to keep your acne under control and keep your skin clear. Acne is the result of clogging of the follicles of skin glands causing pimples to appear. Consider cheaper, alternative, natural, effective treatment methods to get the best cure for your acne, zit, pimple or blackhead problem.

Most pimples are found on the face, neck, back, chest, and shoulders. There are several different types of acne. In a survey conducted in Great Britain, 95% of 16-year-old males and 83% of 16 year-old females had acne. Acne is most common in teenagers and young adults.

As time goes by, more research may help determine just how male and female hormones influence acne and the role diet plays. The cause of acne is unknown and there is still much to be learned. The liver gets rid of toxins from bad food, drugs and chemicals and sends them through the skin resulting in eruptions, acne, pimples and other skin disorders.

Make sure not to use hot water on your face, always use lukewarm water. Use papaya and the seeds for exfoliating. Treatment with raw apple cider vinegar will work better on your skin if it isn’t already noticeably irritated from acne medicines, acne products or other failed treatment.

Try relaxation techniques to reduce stress, including meditation and yoga breathing exercises. Acne and its treatment is one of the most misunderstood topics there is when it comes to acne skin care. It bears repeating, you want to be good to your skin and never pop or squeeze a pimple no matter how tempting.

Coconut oil is one of the best, if not the best, treatments I’ve found for acne. Since the latest research indicates a connection between stress and acne, make an effort to cut down on stress any way you can. Acne prone, sensitive skin can get irritated by using astringents, skin toners, rubbing alcohol, facial masks, make-up and certain hair care products.

Shave carefully and try both electric and safety razors to see which works best for you. Popping pimples can cause infection and scarring; best not to do it. Most commercial cleansers are harsh on the face and trying to find the right one for you could cost a fortune.

Too many chemicals can strip your skin of its natural oils and the skin will overproduce oil to compensate for it, blocking your pores and causing more acne. Make sure to stay out of the sun if you’re taking any acne medications.

Adding a lot of fresh, raw fruit to the diet has helped many people clear their skin up; there are tons of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients in fruits. Drink lots and lots of pure, filtered water every day. When you change your diet, your lesions should start getting better within a week or two, with significant improvement the first month.

To cure yourself of acne, you need to correct the problems going on inside of your body that are causing the acne. People with skin disorders such as acne, rosacea, and psoriasis often suffer from constipation; if you are, make sure you’re drinking lots of water every day and add more natural fiber from raw fruits to your diet.

Drink freshly extracted carrot juice, if you can, every day; carrot juice is an excellent cleanser for the liver, great for the skin and contains tons of nutrients, all beneficial for acne. Put two tablespoons of coconut oil in your all fruit smoothies and blend. Drink plenty of pure, filtered water, a minimum of a quart a day.

When the skin is dehydrated, dead skin cells remain on the skin which may block pores and promote acne; drink plenty of water. Eating foods with essential fatty acids are particularly important to people with dry skin or acne.

There is hope – keep researching and testing. Fortunately, many people have discovered through trial and error how to cure their acne. One should always think about cheaper, alternative, natural, effective treatment methods to get the best cure or solution to their acne, zits, pimples and blackhead problems.

I’ve been suffering from acne for years now and no matter what I try, it’s not going away. I know it has to do with hormones and growth, since I am a teenager, but it is really getting annoying. I’m so sick of having such a problem. I’ve tried Proactive, various natural remedies, and other over the counter products, but none have worked. I have oily skin and I’m thinking about using an acne peel as my last resort. I don’t want to become dependent on such medicines, however. Any suggestions?

I <3 Neutrogena and I use Clean & Clear cleansing pads (from the Avon magazine).

First, start using the Neutrogena advanced solution set which you can find in any supermarket. Get the Neutrogena foundation or concealer for acne.

Not only does it cover the blemishes smoothly, it gets rid of them!!!!! YAY!!! At least it worked for me.

If you decide to use to use the Neutrogena, carry a makeup bag with it in it.

Or if you are into home remedies (the get-rid-of-quick kind of stuff) here’s what I can tell you:

Trying to clear them up in one day is hard and can leave your skin inflamed for a while…

HOWEVER, there are a few remedies that I have experimented with. My friends and family were happy to share some with me.

1. Apply lemons or tomatoes to your face, cut them into fours, and rub along face. Go to sleep and the next day- your pimples should be visibly smaller.

2. A mask of grated apple mixed with a little honey is an excellent remedy for pimples. Most facial masks can be applied to the skin for 15-20 minutes then washed off with warm water, followed by a cold rinse.

3. Another overnight home remedy for zapping a zit is to put a dab of toothpaste on it to help dry it out. You may need to test this on a short-term basis to make sure it doesn’t irritate your pimple. Calamine lotion will have the same drying effect. (THIS ONE WORKED FOR ME, MY FRIEND GIT A RED RASH HOWEVER).

4. Grind some nutmeg with milk and apply on affected area. Pimples disappear like magic without leaving a mark.

5. Make a paste of roasted & powdered pomgranate skin with fresh lime juice and apply over PIMPLES.

6. Rubbing alcohol

7. Mix corn flour with egg white and apply on your face. Let is dry completely for 1/2 hour. Dip your hands in warm water and massage your face and wash off. This when repeated regularly gives you a smooth skin.

8. Honey

9. Dilute some lemon juice with water and dab on pimples to kill germs, cool inflammation and improve blood circulation. Lemon is also good for removing scars. That means any pimples you popped in angst that left a scar will go away over time. Lemon contains acid so it’s like having an acid peel thing going, but not. Your skin will be so clear you can set that makeup aside for special occasions.

MOST OF THESE THINGS ARE EASY TO FIND- I didn’t include things that are hard to find. I hope on of these works for you.

Though if you are willing to wait, Neutrogena advanced solution has done wonders for me.

Sorry for the length, GOOD LUCK! iHate pimples

By the way, if you are looking to cure acne for the long-term, you need to put in the effort. Eat plenty of vitamins- little greasy foods. Don’t touch your face often. Try not to get too stressed, exercise often. You know the wrap!

You can do it — look better, feel better, and raise your self-esteem 150% by getting rid of your acne for good. Almost 100% of people between the ages of twelve and seventeen have at least occasional breakouts of whiteheads, blackheads or a pimple, now and then.

Natural treatment methods are always a better choice for acne due to less exposure to drugs and chemical-laden acne products.

Baby acne is a rash seen on the cheeks, chin, and forehead of infants. Acne vulgaris is most commonly experienced around puberty, typically of the face, shoulders and chest. Acne will affect almost every person at some stage of their life.

Nearly 80 percent of people from ages 11 to 30 years have acne, most often on the face, chest and back. In a survey conducted in Great Britain, 95% of 16-year-old males and 83% of 16 year-old females had acne.

The cause of acne is really unknown. It’s not true that dirty skin and stress cause acne.

Doctors think certain factors might cause or contribute to acne including hormone increases in teenage years, hormone changes in pregnancy, starting or stopping birth control pills, heredity, medicines and greasy make-up.

I think the cause of acne is related to our Standard American Diet (SAD) and that would also influence all our hormones.

It’s easy to treat acne cheaply, simply, naturally, yet effective, at home. If you’re going to buy acne products, it’s much more worth your while to buy acne-treating products that work against current pimples and that also fight against the occurrence of new ones.

Coconut is one of the best treatments I’ve found for acne. Raw apple cider vinegar application is a cheap, alternative acne treatment that has worked for many adults, teens and children with acne, zits, pimples, or blemishes.

One treatment method some people have used is applying cornstarch, egg whites or milk of magnesia as a facial mask. For a good acne treatment, that has worked for many, try applying virgin coconut oil daily, but on a small test area first.

A new treatment using red light and blue light has been extremely successful on severe acne.

Acne scars are an ongoing reminder of a common skin condition that can cause embarrassment and social isolation. Scars may also contribute to a person looking older than their age as the skin loses its elasticity over the years.

As a registered nurse, I have learned a lot over the years about acne scars, acne scar treatments, and acne scar removal.

People with skin disorders such as acne, rosacea, and psoriasis often suffer from constipation. Drink lots and lots of pure, filtered water.

In any case, no matter what skin or acne treatment you choose, whether it is chemical, drugs, alternative, or natural methods, changing your diet will result in your overall good health!

Essential fatty acids are particularly important to people with inflammatory conditions such as eczema and acne.

And fatty acids are particularly important to people with dry skin. Good skin is often a reflection of a good digestive system. Eat high-fiber snacks like raw nuts, raw seeds, and dried fruit, such as dates, and figs.

Unclean skin favors the development of pathogenic organisms – the dead cells that continually slough off of the epidermis mix with the secretions of the sweat and sebaceous glands and the dust found on the skin to form a filthy layer on its surface.

The skin must be regularly cleaned or it’ll become cracked or inflamed.

And whatever you do stop purchasing hundreds of dollars in skin care acne treatment solutions.

By simply following a plan you’ve developed for yourself and sticking with it, you can reduce the severity of your acne or even eliminate it entirely. In any case, try not to panic about your acne and take it day by day.
